Integrations

QuickBooks Online

TorqueDesk connects to QuickBooks Online (QBO) for invoicing and payment tracking.

Connecting

Go to Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks and tap Connect. You'll be redirected to Intuit's sign-in page. Authorize TorqueDesk to access your QBO account. You'll be sent back to the app automatically once authorized.

Creating Invoices

When a work order is completed, you can push it to QB as an invoice. Tap Create Invoice on any completed work order. The invoice is created in QBO with the line items, customer info, and applicable tax (13% HST).

The work order status updates to Invoiced once the QB invoice is created.

Payment Tracking

Invoice payment status syncs from QB. When a customer pays in QB, TorqueDesk reflects the payment status on the linked work order.

Disconnecting

Go to Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks and tap Disconnect. This removes the connection from TorqueDesk. Your data in QBO is not affected.

Google Calendar

TorqueDesk can create calendar events for scheduled work orders.

Connecting

Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar and tap Connect. Sign in with your Google account and grant calendar access.

Using Calendar Sync

When a work order has a scheduled date and an assigned technician, TorqueDesk creates a Google Calendar event on the technician's calendar. The event includes the customer name, machine, and work order number.

Events are created when a work order is saved. Updating the scheduled date updates the event. Deleting or cancelling a work order removes the event.
